About this Event
This is a place for connection to your own wild heart and to a circle of sisters.
Why come to an event like this?
Because we all need a place to rest our bodies, our hearts and souls. Because ritual helps us step out of the rush and doing of our busy lives to remember the call of our heart and soul. Because community can be a source of deep nourishment. As Brené Brown puts it, "We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known."
What happens here?
There's an invitation to REST, engage in experiential ritual, to share what's alive in your heart and soul, receive witnessing and encouragement, and offer deep listening. Sometimes we sing, sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry. We take time to tune deeply inside, listen to our hearts and share our experiences as a way of learning more about ourselves and how to be in heart-centred, caring relationships with others. There's always oracle cards and chocolate!
W hat are the community agreements?
Confidentiality - what is shared in this circle is sacred, often vulnerable. Creating a safer space is non-negotiable and in purchasing your ticket, you agree not to share the words of your circle sisters outside the sisterhood.
Practice radical self-care by declining participation in any part of the ritual that does not feel right to you. Take care of your needs by asking for what you need. No sitting in unnecessary discomfort, no seething.
No fixing or advice during the ceremony. We listen as a way to offer a gift of our deep presence to one another, to hear and understand, not to respond. If you notice a desire to "help" by offering advice (which is perfectly normal), just notice it. This is your wisdom speaking, and it is right for you. Here, we hold each woman as whole and capable of walking through whatever life brings. If someone asks for advice, we can create an agreed-upon way to communicate resources or advice after the circle is closed.
Hosted by experienced Women's Circle facilitator, Priestess of Woo, space holder, somatic coach and perfectly imperfect ordinary woman - Wendy MacPherson.
