About this Event
Your friends from the 3rd Elephant Trio invite you on a grand voyage to the Emerald Isle this St. Patrick's Day under their new banner "The North Sea Consort"!
With our good friend and experienced tour guide, Laura MacKenzie, we'll be steering into lively music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Sweden, Finland, and, of course, the heart of old Ireland itself. Special guest cellist Diane Tremaine will also be hopping aboard, bringing her warm, expressive tone and Irish spirit.
Please join in the rollicking good time as we avail ourselves of mandolins, fiddles, a cello, some concertinas, and various Celtic flutes and whistles to conjure up a most fantastic Celtic soundscape! Wear your green, bring your luck, and come add to the craic—it's sure to be a memorable St. Patrick's Day adventure!
Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concessions, merchandise and Mr. Chipper's fresh-baked cookies will be available for sale during the concert.
The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of the WWI era Old Milk Factory on the Rum River in Anoka. It is not a wheelchair accessible building and there are some stairs to climb.
*For attendees in groups of eight or more who want to sit together, please feel free to contact us in advance and we are willing to set aside a group of chairs in the back seating section of the main room floor for your group. We don’t do group discounts.
