Craig Draxten is a life-long resident of the area and has been playing music locally for many years. He spent the last twelve years as a member of the 50-60’s rock band The Studebakers. Doug Wright is an Illinois transplant where he spent 10 years as the frontman for a couple of classic rock cover bands in the Chicago area. Both are still involved in contemporary Christian and gospel music, in addition to the eclectic mix of classic rock, country and blues that make up the playlist of North of 64.
