Do you want to be part of the planning and development of the North Lamar International District (NLID)? Business owners across the district are coming together to discuss the development and implementation of projects in the North Lamar International District with the help of the Souly Austin Program. Come learn about how you can help be part of the NLID board, enhance your district, improve foot traffic, and continue a unified district identity and voice. The NLID District Meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 11 from 3:00 pm -4:00 pm at the Little Walnut Creek Branch Library located at 835 W. Rundberg Lane, Austin, Texas 78758.
The Souly Austin Program is a place-based economic development program within the City’s Economic Development Department. It is focused on retaining strong, vibrant, culturally rich and diverse economic and cultural districts throughout Austin through the development of independent district management organizations, district development tools, and resourcing.
At this meeting, you will be able to meet other business owners in the district, sign up to serve on the leadership board, learn more about Souly Austin including the benefits of the program and what participating in the program involves while also providing input and ideas for the future of North Lamar International District. The more participation from business owners, the greater the impact for your community!
