Meet fellow homeschooler-type families at the playground on Wednesdays from 2pm-4pm at Saint Edward State Park in Kenmore. The playground has a large maze-like wooden structure for the older kids and a contained play area for the littles. Kids often play tag and other field games in the adjacent field.
Note: parking at St. Ed’s requires a permit ($11.50 for a day pass or $35 for an annual Discover Pass) as it is a state park. This can be purchased from a kiosk in the parking lot beside the playground.
In the event of inclement weather or poor air quality, alternate plans or cancellation will be communicated on the Facebook event or by the SHG (Seattle Homeschool Group) email list.
