About this Event
Heritage Open Days is England's largest community-led festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. Every year in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life.
If you’re already thinking of opening your doors or holding an event for this year’s festival, or want to find out more about how to get involved, come along to our next NEL HODs meeting in Fred Smith Room at Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre at 1pm on Wednesday 28th January.
The theme for 2026 is 'Everyday Histories'
