Join us for an epic walk along the North Downs, from Wye to Folkestone! 🌿🏞️ This ancient route is steeped in history, once traveled by pilgrims on their way to Canterbury. As we trek through chalk hills, passing historic landmarks and breathtaking views, we'll be walking paths that date back thousands of years. From ancient woodland to Roman roads, this is more than just a hike—it's a journey through time. Don't miss out!📍 Starting Point: Wye Village
🌾 Surrounded by stunning farmland and the Kent Downs, we'll kick off our walk with a climb to the historic Wye Crown Memorial ⛰️, a 1902 hillside carving honoring King Edward VII.
🌿 Next Stop: Devil’s Kneading Trough
Explore this breathtaking valley in the Wye National Nature Reserve 🌸, home to over 20 protected orchid species, all thriving in this ancient landscape.
👀 Scenic Break: Farthing Common Viewpoint
Take in the panoramic views, and on a clear day, spot Fairlight in East Sussex 🌅. We’ll cross the historic Stone Street 🛤️, a Roman road that once connected Canterbury to Hythe.
🏞️ Final Destination: Above Folkestone
