ABOUT ROLL FOR WARMTH
The “Roll for Warmth”, a grassroots charity initiative founded by Elliot Way. For the past five years, members of The Rolling Thunder Van Club have filled their classic vans with warm clothing, blankets, survival kits, dog food, gift cards, and other much-needed supplies, then convoyed through the Downtown Eastside to distribute the donations to those in need.
The funds raised will directly support the acquisition of warm clothing and sleeping bags for distribution, with the convoy set to take place in January or February 2024 – after most holiday-driven charity efforts have concluded but the need for support remains critical.
Through the generosity and the support of the East Van music community, local businesses, and friends who volunteer, Roll For Warmth makes a tangible difference in the lives of people who often go unseen and unheard.
