Host Drew Wilson-McGrath would like to introduce you to your two new favorite comics: Jeremiah Coughan & Julia Corral.
Jeremiah Coughlan is a comedian. A comedian who physically resembles what would happen if Chris Farley ate Bob Ross. His stage presence embodies some of the same traits. He is an imperfect mix of chaos and control. In what can seem paradoxical Jeremiah carries a calm and contented demeanor in to his high energy and surprisingly athletic stage performances. Although he still hasn’t figured out how to complete a painting in 30-minutes.
Julia Corral is a working Latina Comic in Portland, Oregon who draws inspiration from just about everything, from marriage to new hot trends, and not so hot trends. She has a unique style, and her sharp eye for the 'little things' in life comes to a deliberate point on stage. Julia studied improv and theatre, and it shines through with her genuine quirkiness and flash on stage. Julia finds vulnerability funny — even and perhaps especially her own, as her material swirls around relationships, love, family, and how all those things are simultaneously beautiful, sad, and... well... hilarious.
