You are invited to be a part of a conversation over coffee and treats about the future of Civil War representation at our state's Museum of History. We will meet with visitors from Raleigh, Brunswick Civil War Round Table members and others at the main/downtown branch of the New Hanover County Library at 201 Chestnut Street, in the Harnett Room. From the organizers at Brocade
Studios:
"Brocade is working with the North Carolina Museum of History to facilitate a statewide community engagement process as the museum seeks to ensure that a well-rounded set of community histories and perspectives are reflected in the museum’s exhibits, and as the museum seeks to nurture relationships with a range of people and places in North Carolina".
Join us to share your views on
aspects of Civil War history and/or North Carolina history that are meaningful to you, what stories should be told in the state history museum, etc. Your voice matters. Thank you for your consideration!
