About this Event
This is the required 8 hour class to obtain your North Carolina Concealed Handgun permit. This includes classroom instruction, written test and 30 round shooting qualification.
The classroom instruction covers the following topics:
- Legal Issues
- Handgun Safety
- Marksmanship Fundamentals
- Carrying Concealed Safety Issues
- Presentation Techniques
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Ammunition
- Proficiency Drills
There is a 1 hour break for lunch. Following the classroom portion, the shooting qualification is held at the same location.
The cost for this class is $85 if you have your own handgun/ammo or $110 if you need to rent a handgun/ammo.
~NOTE~ If you plan on using your own handgun for the class please look for ammo ASAP. Don’t wait to purchase ammo because sales have made availability scarce.
Participants must have a working knowledge of handguns and shooting experience. For a fee, training is available with Gun Coach for anyone needing help prior to the class.
