About this Event
Join the 52 Hike Challenge North Carolina Chapter on a 2.6 mile hike on the William Umstead State Park Sal's Branch Trail. The hike is in recognition of National Trails Day!
When: Saturday, June 1, 2024 . Check in, introductions and giveaways for ticket holders will be at 10:00 am, and the hike starts at 10:15 am. We will meet at the Trail Head past the Visitor Center Parking Lot next to a 2015 White Hyundai Santa Fe.
Skill Level: Easy. Approximately 2.6 miles with 183 feet of elevation gain.
Be sure to wear adequate clothing, sunscreen, and plenty of water, snacks and electrolytes. As always pack your 10 essentials for safety reasons and we will follow the Leave No Trace Behind Guidelines.
