We bring to Tromsø what we miss the most: techno that’s fast, hard and groovy. We bring together local DJs and our favorite selectors from European clubs. It will be normal. Trust us.
Normal Techno is a subversive concept coming from a deep longing for connection on the dancefloor. Connection with those for whom a high BPM is not just a number, but a state of mind. We want to create a safe and respectful space for all techno lovers who need to feel the bass deep in their bones.

Joanna John – Polish producer, designer and visual artist, known for her eclectic approach to electronic music. Her compositions often lack a traditional beat, instead creating tension through the contrast of powerful and subtle, synthetic and natural sounds. She has released three albums and contributed to several music compilations. She has performed at local events such as Insomnia Festival, Electric Arctic, and venues like Kurant or Pust, as well as on various stages across Europe.

Ernst Malo – Polish producer and DJ active on European scenes. His earliest gigs include local venues as VT and Driv and performances on festivals as Insomnia and Winterland. His sound is characterised by a strong focus on atmosphere. Known for his extremely atmospheric breaks and strong hypnotic drops with the constant progression.

Alberto Emrick – An Italian conservatory-trained percussionist and a DJ based in Tromsø who creates immersive soundscapes by blending gendres like jazz, hard techno and high-intensity rhythms. With unexpected sounds and a storytelling approach, Alberto transforms his sets into an impressionable experience.

Johaan Berg– A Swedish producer and a DJ living in Poland, known for his old-school, drum-driven style that blends train energy with a touch of groove. A fan of closing sets and all-nighters. He delivers long, high-BPM performances that forge a deep connection with his audience and have become a staple of the Polish underground techno scene. Active at clubs like Sfinks, DrugiDom, Crackhouse, and Ziemia - and as part of the legendary WAGA - he consistently delivers a dark, intense yet funky sets.
