Copenhagen Fintech has joined forces with EY and is now planning an intense two-day executive network program. Final dates are not planned yet but expected to be in February and March 2025. Signup is not possible at the moment - but please write Simon Schou [email protected] if you are interested.
Day one will be a full day in Oslo and day two will be a full day in Copenhagen, both days including a networking dinner.
Program/Focus:
The focus of this two-day program is to unlock the potential of Web3 for larger organizations. We offer a unique opportunity to explore innovative applications of blockchain technology and decentralized systems in a network with visionary coworkers from other large organizations.
Program/Format:
It will be a mixture of user oriented “lectures”, individual strategy mentoring and networking elements with the other participants and our guest mentors.
We are partnering up with some of the most advanced global companies involved in different aspects of web3 implementation so the lectures and the mentoring will be non-academic focusing on real use case experience aimed also at making it easy for you to choose potential next steps partners.
Who should join:
Participants should be either innovation strategy responsibilities who wants to expand their view and understanding on web3 opportunities and risks; digital assets responsible who wants to lift digital assets on the corporate strategic agenda; or control functions (risk, legal, compliance) who need to understand also the strategic and regulatory perspectives on web3.
Expected outcome:
The program is focusing on the strategic opportunity space of web3 for larger organizations. Ideally you will after the session have broadened your view on how you can grow and leapfrog your business with web3, taking into account the upcoming regulatory frames coming from the EU through its Digital Age package (incl. MiCAR – Markets in Crypto Assets Reporting).
We will focus mainly on the opportunity space but will also touch on the overall delivery realities that organizations face with Web3. Utilizing use cases to provide guidance and insights on how to deep dive more into this topic.

LALIGA, Spain’s premier football league, is at the forefront of digitalization. With a SoMe community of +200M followers (the highest of any football league), LALIGA has also embrace on different levels WEB3; through partners and sponsors, such as SORARE ,GameOn (USA) or Goal Ball, on a club level (trough different initiatives such as Socios.com) or through strategic agreements such as the one forged between Sportian (LALIGA & Globant technology joint venture) and StadioPlus, that among other projects, launched the metaverse space of LALIGA in Decentraland, LALIGALAND.

The EY FinTech & Digital Assets team has won several international rewards for our blockchain and crypto services, including Chambers FinTech Consulting Guide (band 1), Blockchain lawyers of the year by Finance Monthly 2022 and Leaders in Law 2022 (+ a few other publications). EY has supported a large share of Norway’s projects on digital assets and crypto-related since 2016, including governmental authorities. The team conducts several courses in the Norwegian and Nordic FinTech landscape on crypto regulation, including a DeFi & DAO workshop during the Nordic Blockchain Conference in Copenhagen 2024, and will hold a session in the Oslo event on “WEB 3 Risk – navigating MiCA & Tax”.
