Come join us a Nordic Folk Singing Workshop with Anna Fält (Finland/Sweden)
Welcome to a fun and engaging workshop led by touring folk singer Anna Fält! Learn traditional Nordic songs and immerse yourself in the rich musical heritage of the region. The workshop will take place at Ockham Collective's the NIX.
Anna Fält's specialities are different singing traditions from Finland and Sweden, combining the bright Scandinavian and dark East-European tones. She is passionate about the human voice and is known for her innovative ways to use voice as an versatile instrument. She has been teaching workshops at various universities and music schools around the world and teaches fluently in 3 different languages. Anna graduated as a folk singing teacher 2011 and works mostly with workshops and courses introducing Finnish tradition for non-finnish people. All material is taught by ear and consist of simple little melodies with lots of possibilities for variation - everyone can join, no matter the background!
