Nordic Ambles• Regular Thursdays 9.15-10.15am
• Routes are up to 1.5 miles over fields, tracks and occasional surfaced pathways.
• Groups are small and friendly, we have different start points in and around Belper each week.
Walking poles are provided and guidance on technique is available from British Nordic Walking instructor - Corinna.
Pre-booking is essential so I can ensure I have a set of poles for you.

We will use Nordic Walking poles to exercise up to 90% of a muscles in our body. The special Nordic walking technique spreads the effort and because of this it feels easier to walk at a faster than normal pace and also uphills. It burns more calories than normal walking, encourages good posture and exercises upper body muscles which can often be neglected in day-to-day life.
Your first walk is FREE and after that sessions are £30 for a block booking of 4 walks (which works out at £7.50 p/walk). If you need to miss a week it’s not a problem, you can carry forward walks providing you give one weeks notice.
To join you must be able to Nordic Walk using the INWA 10 step approach. I can arrange a training session for you.
