Ring in the New Year the Barkside way at our Third Annual Tennis Ball Drop 🥎🎉
Join us on New Year’s Eve for the most unhinged countdown of the day (all for the dogs, obviously). At 12 PM sharp, we’ll release a glorious cascade of tennis balls into the park!
Humans won’t be left out: your ticket includes a complimentary champagne toast at noon, because it’s never too early to celebrate responsibly.
Let the pups sprint, pounce, and tire themselves out while you enjoy a drink and knock out New Year’s plans early...so your evening is wide open for naps, parties, or pretending you’ll stay up until midnight.
This is a ticketed event:
- Humans: Free RSVP
- Dogs with an Active Membership: $15
- Dogs without a Membership: $25
- Additional dogs in the same household: $5
The Barkside Detroit will be open from 10 AM to 2 PM on New Year’s Eve, with the tennis ball drop happening right at noon. Dog day passes are limited due to capacity, so purchase early to secure your spot. Once the balls drop, they drop!
New to Barkside?
Before your visit, create a profile for your dog at www.barksidedogbar.com and upload their vaccine records. Dogs must be at least six months old, and those over a year must be spayed or neutered. Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP, and Bordetella vaccines are required. Humans must also sign a Guest Waiver, available on our website.
What is Barkside?
A dog park and bar in one, Barkside is where dogs run free and humans relax with a drink. With indoor and outdoor off-leash areas, it’s the perfect spot to socialize - on two legs or four. We now have two Metro Detroit locations: our original spot in Detroit’s West Village and our newest location in Southfield on 11 Mile. Stop by for a day or become a member for regular visits.
No dog? No problem! Dog lovers are always welcome.
