Have a blast ringing in the new year at the EcoTarium! While you’re here, you can make a time capsule, launch a rocket, add to our 2026 resolution wall, or participate in our annual 12:00 pm kid-friendly countdown!
Schedule:
There is always something new happening both on our grounds and inside the museum building. For maximum fun, experience one of our daily planetarium programs* or take a ride on the Explorer Express Train* (weather dependent).
10:30 am — One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure (Planetarium full-dome movie)*
10:45 am — Science Discovery: Coding for Kids: Fireworks!
11:15 am — CAPCOM Go! The Apollo Story (Planetarium full-dome movie)*
12:00 pm — Science Discovery: Noon Year’s 2025 Countdown and Celebration
12:45 pm — Astronomy Live! Creative Calendars (Educator-led program in the planetarium)*
1:30 pm — Science Discovery: Launch Your Own Rocket (weather-dependent)
2:15 pm — Astronomy Live! Tour of the Solar System (Educator-led program in the planetarium)*
