Printmaking is an affordable way to make multiples as art, to make greeting cards or add designs to clothing or wall decoration. Printmaking teaches persistence, patience and critical thinking skills. This workshop teachesstudents to make multiples using low tech printmaking materials specifically Styrofoam and tempera paint on black paper. The skills developed here can transfer to block printing or other printmaking techniques.
