Non-Profit Spotlight: New England Forestry Foundation
Join us for a discussion with The New England Forestry Foundation, the sixth largest land trust in the United States. New England forests have the potential to capture one-third of the total energy-related CO2 emissions reductions needed across New England by 2050. Through the application of its core expertise in conserving forestland and advancing “Exemplary Forestry”, the Foundation helps to protect our local forests, and mitigate and adapt to climate change. During this discussion, we will learn more about New England Forestry Foundation’s climate-smart forestry strategy, its work in furthering a strong forest-based bioeconomy in New England , and opportunities for the investor community to engage with the Foundation’s work.
