NoLess blends soulful and vulnerable songwriting with lush and dynamic guitar based compositions. Weaving the personal, spiritual and political, their songs traverse through eclectic sound worlds, nested in the roots of alternative soul, indie, folk and jazz.NoLess is the alias of musician Aidan Ryan, who is the songwriter behind the music. After releasing his debut EP in 2020, he has spent this time honing, creating, working as a session guitarist, and writing.
Back with a new band of 4 beautiful musicians, consisting of Robbie Belchamber, Alex Roper, Billie Hoyle and Jessie Monk, this show will be an intimate journey through the many shades of Aidan's sonic world.
Joining them on the day will be Anna Du Ve' on support. The lead singer of local soul outfit 'Belly Savalas', performing her own solo works. Groove-based, neo-soulful, blues-infused tunes. Anna Du Vé’s OG musak is born of the heart, raised by jazz and sung with soul, with an indecent amount of scatting.
NoLess will then play two 40 minute sets.
