In New Orleans, yakamein, also known as "Old Sober," isa flavorful, spicy noodle soup, often considered a hangover cure. It typically features a dark, peppery beef broth, noodles (often spaghetti), a hard-boiled egg, and green onions, with optional additions like shrimp, ketchup, or hot sauce.
Plantains are a nutritional powerhouse offering a range of health benefits. They are a good source of fiber vitamins (especially A C and B6) and minerals like potassium magnesium and calcium. Plantains also contain antioxidants which help protect against cell damage. Their fiber content promotes healthy digestion and can aid in weight management. Additionally plantains are known for their potassium content which is essential for regulating blood pressure and maintaining heart health. Enjoy plantains steamed or fried. Do not eat a plantain raw but you can eat if course a raw banana.

Today it is an expensive delicious delicacy when cooked to perfection the meat falls off the bones and eaters suck the delicious juices and seasonings sauteed inside the bones.
