Noise Peddler is the electronic duo of Brighton based composers / guitarists Danny Bright and Lee Westwood.A symmetrical duo of no-input pedalboards transmitting part-composed, part-improvised sonic structures, their music involves the re-appropriation of guitar effects, informed by their unique approaches to instrumental and electro-acoustic music. The result is a performance where pedals are the signal generator, processor and instrument.
The ‘Rosehill-Associated Artists’ explore the limits of what can be achieved with the no-input pedalboard as instrument. Can you create full songs with verse-chorus structures? Can you perform a cover? Can you create rhythmic complexity and fluid beats?
Come hear heavy beats, grinding noise, floating synth-like melodies and dense electronic improv that sways over the brink of chaos!
Noise Peddler’s self-titled debut album will be released on Rose Hill Records this November, available on limited edition vinyl and streaming services.
