Starring the incomparable Barbara Stanwyck as a scheming wife who entices fast-talking insurance salesman Fred MacMurray to murder her husband. Add the scene-stealing support of Edward G. Robinson and the stunning camera work of John F. Seitz, and you have, arguably, the most significant film noir of all time.
