GRNoir is excited to launch Noir Flights—an opportunity to travel to renowned wine destinations to deepen your knowledge of wine and cultivate meaningful connections with fellow wine lovers. For our first wine trip, we are heading to Napa Valley, California! We invite wine enthusiasts to join GRNoir Co-owners Nadia and Shatawn Brigham as they fly to sunny California for a week of winery tours, tastings and dinners in October 2024.

Our main goal with Noir Flights is to elevate the wine experience for those interested in deepening their knowledge of vino. Aligning with our vision for GRNoir, we believe that wine should be accessible to all, regardless of prior experience. Through Noir Flights, we give anyone the opportunity to confidently navigate the world of wine while enjoying an extraordinary experience.

History of Napa Valley, CA

Napa Valley's winemaking history dates back to the 1830s when George Yount, a fur trapper, planted the first grapes in the region. The industry flourished in the late 19th century but faced challenges in the early 20th century due to Prohibition and the Great Depression. By the 1930s, the region experienced a turning point as the industry began to recover, with the Napa Valley Vintners Association playing a crucial role in promoting Napa Valley wines worldwide. Today, Napa Valley is one of the most renowned wine regions globally, known for its exceptional wines and captivating scenery.

It only felt fitting to kick off Noir Flights in the United States’ premier wine destination. We’ll learn about the vineyards we visit and the celebrated stories behind them—all while tasting the very best wines California has to offer off the vines.
