Spotlight possums, koala and other animals with experienced guides walking safe paths through the natural forests of the botanic garden.
About this Event

Join the volunteer guides of the garden for a magical evening to search for possums, gliders, bats, maybe a koala ...and other little critters whose eye shine in the dark! Also experience the amazing world of nature's fluorescence under UV light. This 2km night walk follows paths through natural forests and planted gardens. We pause along the way to learn how the wild creatures live, what they eat and why they make such strange noises in the dark.

Tour size is strictly limited and bookings are essential. Bring a torch and insect repellent. Please wear enclosed shoes or sandals and bring an umbrella if there are passing showers.

WEATHER AND REFUND POLICY: If the tour needs to be cancelled on the night due to steady rain or high winds the tour will be rescheduled for the following night or your ticket can be used to join a future scheduled tour. We do not provide refunds. Tour participants will be advised by email if the tour needs to be postponed. The tour will proceed if there are passing showers. All proceeds support the botanic garden.
