Attendees will gain insight into how these changes impact day-to-day HR practices and leave with actionable considerations to help their organizations remain compliant and prepared.
Speaker: Mark Cameron, Attorney | Friday Eldredge & Clark
Mark K. Cameron is an attorney in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP. His practice is focused on advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment and immigration laws and representing businesses in litigation when the need arises. Mark has represented employers in litigation matters involving discrimination, Fair Labor Standards Act claims, non-compete agreements, breach of contract, and wrongful discharge claims. Mark’s practice also focuses heavily on employment-based immigration matters and I9 compliance issues.
Mark remains active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Arkansas Appleseed Legal Justice Center and volunteering pro-bono hours to support legal needs of Arkansans. Mark is a believer in the need for healthy breaks from work and finds joy in escaping outdoors to hike, bike, rock climb, and travel.
Mark joined the firm after receiving his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. He earned a Master of Public Service degree from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Latin American studies from the University of Arkansas.
