ABOUT NOAH
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, clarinetist Noah Suarez began his musical studies at age 12 at LaVilla School of the Arts. He has attended the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and the Kinhaven School of Music. Noah is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in clarinet performance here at Lynn, in the studio of Jon Manasse. His previous teachers include Giovanni Bertoni, David Sapadin, Patrick Graham, Janet Thomas, and Jim Daniels.
Noah has performed with ensembles including the South Florida Symphony Orchestra, Lynn Philharmonia, and the Douglas Anderson Wind Symphony. He recently appeard as a soloist with the Lynn Wind Ensemble in a performance of Scott McAllister’s Freebirds. Noah is also an active chamber musician, performing with the Panacea Reed Quintet, which has appeared in various venues and competitions including the Fischoff Senior Division. He has participated in masterclasses with Stephen Williamson and Calvin Falwell. Outside of music, Noah enjoys reading, running, and playing chess.
