This workshop for intermediate and advanced beginner raqs sharqi dancers (bellydancers) takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 19 and Aug. 26 from 6:30-8:00pm. Using raqs sharqi movement vocabulary and stylizations, we will study rhythms, drill combinations, and practice improvisation to build a unique and zesty drum solo choreography!
Practice technique, refine your ears, and add finesse to your transitions as we bring the much-loved classic raqs sharqi drum solo to life.
