In this beginner-friendly workshop you will explore the art of needle felting, where you'll safely stab all of the wool to create a sweet little mushroom house and garden, complete with tiny wee gnome friend. Guided by Marisa of Pretty Little Yarns Ltd, you'll learn to felt 3D shapes, when to use core wool, and how to layer colours to transform fluffy wool fibers into anything you can imagine. To finish off, assemble your felted creations inside glass jar terrariums for display. By the end of the class, you'll be well on your way in your creation and have the confidence to continue needle felting beyond the workshop.
This class is open to those 12 years of age and older. A minimum of 6 to run the workshop. Space is limited to 12 participants.
The $65 fee includes the 3 hour workshop, 3 Felting Needle(s), Terrarium Jar, Felting Foam Block, 100% Core Wool, and 100% Coloured Felting Wool.
