About this Event
Join us for a workshop with Prof. Hanneke Takkenberg, Executive Director of Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO)
Women aren't being held back because of trouble balancing work and family; men, too, suffer from that problem and nevertheless advance. Women are held back because they are encouraged to go part-time and shift to internally facing roles, which can derail their careers. The real culprit in women's stalled advancement is a general culture of overwork that hurts both sexes and locks gender inequality in place.
In this popular and engaging workshop led by Prof. Takkenberg, you will gain insight into the environment in which women have higher loads of non-career-enhancing “office housework”. You will learn and practice how to say no - and how to make yourself the first priority in a fun and interactive way.
It’s also an opportunity to connect and network with ECWO’s community.
We look forward to seeing you there!
