Trace is a second-generation Vietnamese American who has spent the last decade in Los Angeles as an artist working in music with over 60 million streams across her catalog and press support from Teen Vogue, NYLON, and The Fader. Her music explores enduring themes of longing, queerness, and emotional complexity.
Trace's love for storytelling has naturally evolved into the realm of filmmaking, showcased by her recent semi-autobiographical short film, "No More Sad Songs." This debut project dutifully intertwines her musical and narrative talents, offering a poignant exploration of personal and universal experiences.
While Trace is still getting random synchs for Love is Blind, she is currently focused on growing her film career. She has a psychological thriller/comedy feature being packaged by Gersh and is working on several projects--another short film about conjuring up grief when it’s not there, and a TV series inspired by her love for God, which stresses her out.
