About this Event
In September 2026, Grant Campbell will attempt to swim the English Channel. Grant’s wife has Huntington’s Disease. Neither swimming the English Channel nor battling Huntington’s Disease are a laughing matter.
Fortunately, Grant has the support of 3 sensational comedians. There may not be any swimming jokes even though Tommy Dean’s namesake is a triple Olympic gold medallist, Cam Knight’s been to Rotto Fest and Nikki Britton played Olympic gold medallist Fanny Durack in Sheilas. We can promise though that these three heavy hitters of Australian Comedy will bring their best to fundraise for Huntington's Australia.
If you have never seen Tommy Dean you are genuinely missing out on a master of the language of comedy. Known as the “Good Will Hunting” of comedy, he seems to see life as an enormous equation in front of him and solves it in an instant – with a mind bending laugh.
With the unique edge of being an American who understands Australia, you would no doubt have seen this guy on countless TV shows. Tommy’s impressive media appearance CV includes Spicks and Specks, Good News Week, Stand Up Australia, Rove Live, Joker Poker, Sunrise, The Today Show and The Sideshow. He can also be heard regularly on ABC 702 radio – Thank God It’s Friday
If you haven’t heard this big American with the rock-god hair and booming deep voice, he is one not to be missed. Funny to his bones; Tommy is a true comedy genius.
