The best way to protect our First Amendment rights under attack by this administration is to exercise those rights. That is why we must make the next NO KINGS DAY the single largest day of peaceful protest in modern American history.
It's time for us all to grow our numbers and show up even BIGGER and BOLDER for NO KINGS 2! On June 14, we did what many claimed was impossible: peacefully mobilized millions of people to take to the streets and declare with one voice: America has no kings. And it mattered. The world saw the power of the people. President Trump’s attempt to turn his birthday into a coronation failed, and the story became a rallying point for a movement rising against his authoritarian power grabs.
NO KINGS is a PEACEFUL national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration. They have doubled down since June, eroding checks and balances, using our tax dollars unlawfully, defying courts, deporting citizens, disappearing people from our neighborhoods, slashing critical social services and protections, cruelly targeting our friends and neighbors, and taking away our freedoms, all in order to orchestrate a massive giveaway to their billionaire loyalists, while prices rise everywhere and healthcare coverage is threatened for millions of us.
The BEST way to protect our freedoms is to USE them. We’re standing TOGETHER against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On October 18, we unite and gather to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has no kings!
