BO BO LA! Big Duck present Malaysian punk extraordinaires NO GOOD on tour supporting their latest album, 'Punk Gong'. One of Southeast Asia’s most promising rock upstarts, the Kelantanese punks are bringing their incredible live intensity to Singapore for one night only on Aug 14 ??
With their unapologetic anthems and dedicated Kelantanese bent, few Malaysian bands have seen a more meteoric rise than No Good. Comprised of members from bands including Dirgahayu and Killer Calculateur, their songs speak to the heart and soul of their people, as they riotously break the boundaries of the Malaysian punk underground.
Marking Big Duck’s first show involving international acts, the Kelantan-via KL trio’s raucous energy will be supported by a dazzling array of Singaporean punk action, in one of this year’s most exciting underground lineups.
Singapore’s own hardcore powerhouses SIAL will match the act in a dream punk match up, playing material from their releases 'Zaman Edan', 'Tari Pemusnah Kuasa', and more.
Post-punk quartet Intermission will finally make their debut, boasting an angular sound influenced by the likes of Unwound and Minutemen. Rounding out the lineup is furious speedcore action from Stiletto, consisting of members from hardcore staples Doldrey, Fuse, and Unsub.
