We know the "Art Fair Catch-22": To get accepted into a fair, you need a photo of your professional booth setup. But why would you spend thousands of dollars on a professional booth setup before you’ve even been accepted to your first fair?
We are here to help you break that cycle.
Join us at MADE Makerspace for "Art Fair Booth Camp"—a weekend dedicated to getting you "Jury Ready." We are setting up three full 10x10 Pro Panel booths in The Commons (formerly The Lobby).
This is your chance to get the professional photos you need without the upfront investment of buying your own walls.
For a $20 donation to MADE, you get:
- 1 Hour of Booth Time: Access to a pre-set 10x10 booth with Pro Panels (no buying or hauling booth equipment!).
- Professional Photography Assistance: A photographer will be on-site to help you frame, light, and capture high-quality images of your display.
- Space to Breathe: A large, climate-controlled indoor environment to figure out your layout.
The Logistics:
- Where: The Commons at MADE Makerspace, 5127 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108
- When: Saturday, January 31, 9am - 5pm & Sunday, February 1, 9am -5pm
- Cost: $20 per hour slot (Proceeds go to MADE Makerspace)
- Capacity: Strictly limited to 3 artists per hour.
What to Bring:
- Your ready-to-hang artwork!
- Any specific display hardware (hooks, shelves) compatible with Pro Panels.
- A rug, table, or chair if it is part of your booth aesthetic.
- Your phone or camera (our photographer is there to assist, but we recommend you capture files on your own device too).
Important Note: These sessions are for booth photos only. No sales will be conducted. This is a working session designed to help you create the best possible application assets for your upcoming art fair season.
