NNAS Camp

Join Stride Cornwall for a 2 day, 2 night camp at on Bodmin Moor where we will be working towards a qualification from the National Navigation Awards Scheme. The 2 day course will be run by Richard Brattle and Mel Schubert from RB Outdoors, with evening activities and overnight camp supervised by Stride volunteers. This is particularly suitable for those who have done or are interested in doing Ten Tors with us, but learning will be adapted to all abilities. Age range 13-18.

The cost of this course including camp fees is around £150 but is reduced to just £20pp (plus booking fee) for Stride Cornwall members only thanks to generous funding from Ramble Worldwide Outdoor Trust. Participants will need to bring their own food, sleeping bag and clothing suitable for hiking. Accomodation will be in single sex group tents. Participants are encouraged to bring their own kit but if equipment is a barrier, please get in touch as we have a small pot of additional funding to be able to help you. This event is part of Stride Cornwall's summer series, funded by Cornwall Community Foundation, Ramble Worldwide Outdoor Trust, Sport England and Alpkit Foundation. Our aim is to increase participation in outdoor sports and activities for 13-18 year olds with the hope that new members might continue to engage in the Great Outdoors through regular participation with Stride Cornwall. 16 spaces available. Tickets will go live on Friday 28th June. Please ONLY book tickets if you are definitely able to attend. Those who book but don't attend will not be able to book further places this summer. We operate a wait list system and will be in touch if a place comes available.
