The Bronze National Navigator Award is aimed at people with no, or a little, navigation experience. The two-day practical course covers the fundamental elements of understanding maps and navigation in the countryside using paths tracks and other linear features. Map interpretation and basic compass work is also included. It will give you the basic skills and confidence you need to plan and safely enjoy your own walks (or runs or cycle rides) along paths and tracks in the Chilterns and beyond.
