About this Event
The Mighty Eighth Air Force helped to save the world during WWII. Join us for a private 2 hour tour followed by lunch on site. The Museum preserves the stories of the courage, character and patriotism of the Eighth Air Force from WW II to the present. You will experience what it was like to fly a bombing mission as a crew member stationed in England, explore restored aircraft, and learn how downed airmen over enemy territory were rescued. The Landing resident Charles Sitrin is planning on leading the tour, in his role as docent.
