Come Closer is the fully-realized first feature by director-writer Tom Nesher, inspired by her own family tragedy — the death of her younger brother, Ari. It won Ophir Awards (Israel’s Oscars) for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Lia Elalouf, making her stunning film debut), and Best Editing.
