Before we have our first large-scale Swap Event, let’s meet up and get to know each other (and our personal styles) better! We will gather on “The Block” at Bell Works- there is usually seating across from Booskerdoo Coffee. We’ll introduce ourselves, and do a little Show and Tell!
Here’s how it works:
- You are invited to bring 5-7 items that represent your style. Each attendee will have a few minutes to present their items and share a few details about them. Your share may include reflections on emotions or memories these items bring up, how long ago you bought the item, or how your style has evolved from them.
- Yes, the items you bring can be ones you’d like to sell or swap.
- You may sell or swap your items at the event, as long as everyone keeps in the spirit that the gathering is intended: to be a low-pressure, “getting to know each other” environment.
- This is your chance to make new friends, share and gain style tips, and be a part of the planning for the larger, official swap event in the New Year!
If there is interest after the Show and Tell portion, we can keep the conversation going over drinks at Bar Bella or Mabel!
