About this Event
Led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher/Naturalist.
Join teacher/naturalist Dorothy Smullen for an in-depth understanding of these pioneer species that are all around us and we hardly notice them. This workshop will cover their diversity, importance in history and to animals, and their role as indicators of air pollution. Hands-on identification of the three major groups and some common lichens will precede a trail walk. This is a perfect workshop for anyone who loves the outdoors.
COST: $20 members, $25 nonmembers.
Ticket sale ends 4/4 at 4:00 PM. Pre-registration required.
