NJ Audubon: Fly Tying Workshop for BeginnersFebruary 22nd @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Led by Angus Macaulay, Teacher Naturalist
Nothing matches the satisfaction of catching a fish on a fly you’ve tied yourself. Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn how to tie fly patterns proven to be effective on local waters. A discussion of stream ecology and entomology will be woven throughout the session. This program is geared toward beginner level fly tyers – no experience necessary. All tools & materials are included, and the flies are yours to keep. Participants that have their own vise and tools are encouraged to bring them for the best learning experience. This is an indoor workshop. There is a limit of 9 participants so sign up early to get a spot! For ages 12 to adult.
Registration required by 02/21 at 4:00 PM.
