New for 2025 is an exciting venture exploring the emerging Chill-out dance scene coming to High Wycombe. The combination of workshops and freestyle is entitled NIRVANA.The formula will include a two-hour workshop and a four-hour chilled-out freestyle experience. The music suits smooth-slotted Ceroc, SILC, WCS, blues, and expressive dancers.
SILC is a relaxed slotted dance similar to West Coast Swing (WCS). This musicality-focused partner dance complements a slower tempo of music. There is generally space between yourself and your partner, and it takes the principles of Ceroc to the next level.
Simon will teach an open-level SILC workshop for new to SILC and improver-level dancers. We will cover the fundamentals and offer variations for more experienced dancers.
Simon has been teaching dance for over 20 years. He loves competing and sharing what he learns in a way that dancers of all levels can understand, with an eye for the technical and the artistic.
The doors open at 12:30 p.m., so there will be plenty of time for the 1 p.m. start, so please do arrive on time.
Refreshments are provided, and we invite you to record a reminder video at the end of the session.
Once the workshop has finished, the freestyle doors will open at 3 p.m.
While booking the workshop beforehand is not essential, beat the queue by booking ahead via the ticket link. Workshop guests can sign in and collect a wristband quickly upon arrival, plus being a website member gives you occasional discount offers not seen anywhere else.

Marc and Rachel will skillfully blend genres to create a seamless musical journey for dancers who enjoy the Chill-Out vibe. Smooth Ceroc, Silc, WCS, Fusion, Smooth Blues, and Expressive dancers will be at home as your DJs comfortably lead you into new musical territory.
All payments are on the day, and booking ahead of time isn't necessary. We plan to introduce a workshop rolling discount for High Wycombe regulars.
