About the Show:
In her first full hour, Nira Tal offers an unfiltered look at the world from just 1.5 meters tall, while living in the Netherlands, the country with the tallest people in the world. She may be short, but she refuses to feel small, even when people literally talk down to her.
Nearly Tall is a brutally honest, dark, and deeply funny exploration of identity, motherhood, disability, and finding strength in your own shortcomings. This is not a feel-good show.

About Nira Tal:
Nira Tal is an English-speaking comedian from Israel, based in Rotterdam. Performing since 2018 and a house comedian at Comedy Club Haug, she’s known for her dark, observational humour, dry delivery, and fearless honesty. Dubbed “the Jewish Ali Wong,” Nira delivers a perspective that is sharp, self-aware, and joyfully uncompromising.
Her material deals with identity, motherhood, disability, and the absurdity of being short (not small!) and has earned millions of likes online. This year she performed selections from her debut hour at Lowlands, which she will bring up in conversation any chance she gets.

- The show takes place at de Schuur ("the Shed") a cosy intimate theatre close to the Louis Hartlooper at Ledig, Erf, Utrecht.
