The Tuesday Lunchbox Concert Series returns to Hobart Town Hall in 2024!Escape the hustle and bustle and step into an oasis of calm listening to beautiful music in a casual and welcoming setting, with an eclectic program of music spanning a rich variety of genres and styles - all for the price of a sandwich!
Concert #4 features pocket-sized version of VDB performing a tempting selection of Baroque favourites. VDB Artistic Director Julia Fredersdorff (Baroque violin) is joined by Katie Yap (viola), Donald Nicolson (on VDB’s fabulous new harpsichord!) and special guests Natasha Kraemer (cello) and Nick Pollock (theorbo). The program traverses Renaissance and Baroque Italy, Germany and France with works by Corelli, Caldara, Hildegard von Bingen and Leclair.
Tickets $10 pre-booked / $15 at the door (from one hour prior to the performance).
