About Cristian Laiber, Bujinkan Dai Shihan :
Cristian Laiber started martial arts in 1983 and trains every year in Japan and Taiwan with masters from many traditions far away from modern sports.
He practices in Japan under many shihans, mostly Ishizuka Sensei – oldest student of Hatsumi soke. He was rewarded by Hatsumi sensei with Bujinkan Golden Dragon medal as well as ShinGiTai menkyo, a rare special certification in Bujinkan Ninjutsu. He is holding the Bujinkan highest rank and the title of Dai Shihan.
Besides Bujinkan which is a very unconventional art, he also follows masters of Takeda Ryu / Daito Ryu and Yagyu ryu traditions (Shingan / Shinkage) in order to understand the genuine wisdom of the old traditions.
Cristian Laiber is also a Shingon Mikkyo practitioner. He is also initiated in the shamanic practices in Amazon.
He also practices the therapeutic aspects of this traditions that has evolved in parallel with the highly sophisticated combat techniques. Thus his experience is a rich source of rare information for all the sincere followers of a traditional Martial and Spiritual path.
Cristian Laiber is currently working on his Ph D thesis with the title ” Survival and Adaptation of Old Traditional Martial Arts in Japan, after the WWII – case study – the Takeda traditions”
Cristian Laiber is teaching as head instructor of Raiden Dojo Bucharest and hold seminars in many dojos in Romania, as well as Hungary, Egypt, Sweden.
Raiden Norrköping Martial Arts is a branch of Raiden Dojo Bucharest.
