British singer, songwriter and performer Nina Garcia began her musical journey at the age of nine, when she performed along side her mum, dad and brother, as fiddle player and singer in their family folk rock band, The Sydling Stompers. The group played alongside the likes of the Dubliners and Davey Arthur from the Fureys. They released two successful albums and were favourites at well known events such as London Docklands Festival, Guernsey International Festival and Sidmouth Folk Festival. By the time Nina turned fourteen, she had been featured on BBC Radio 2’s ‘Folk on 2’, had frequently performed at London’s renowned music venue the Mean Fiddler and was a favourite at the well renowned Green Room Club, in the West End.
