Nilsen’s Southern Harmony har fått mye ros for sine opptredener på bl.a. Leek Blues & Americana Festival, Countryfestivalen Seljord, Tømmerstock, Countryfestivalen Vinstra, Huseby Harvest og Risør Bluegrass Festival. NSH har hatt med låter på Netflix-serien Dag og flere andre filmer og serier, mange programmer på Nrk-tv, i tillegg til radiospilling i hele den vestlige verden. I bandet finner vi musikere som har logget fartstid med Casino Steel, Joe Sun, The Contenders, Mercury Motors, Bill Booth og Ottar «Big Hand».
