Niles Town Walking Tour with David KiehnEver wondered about the history of Niles - its people and its buildings? Come out on Saturday, July 27th beginning at 10 a.m. for a walk and talk about the history of the local Niles area. Tour-goers will meet at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum (37417 Niles Blvd in Fremont) at 10 am for a walking tour led by David Kiehn.
The cost for this event is $5.00. A walking tour booklet will be provided. All proceeds will go to the NESFM. This event is co-sponsored by the Washington Township Museum of Local History and the NESFM.
After the tour you can choose from a selection of
places to eat, drink and play in Niles!

Meet at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum
The Essanay Museum and Store are open Saturdays and Sundays Noon to 4:00 pm. The 100-seat nickelodeon theater screens silent films every Saturday night with live accompaniment. There is a Laurel & Hardy / Little Rascals Talkie Matinee on the second Sunday of the month. Be on the lookout for other special screenings and programs.
